GOODBYE GEORGE W. BUSH AND FRIENDS!
January 20, 2009 is a day some of us will have been waiting for for 8 years. Some of us will be sad to see it come. This will be the day that a new president of the United States of America will be inaugurated. Since 2001 we have seen death of soldiers, high gas prices, torture, and repeated lies of WMD. Use your voice and tell the Bush administration how you feel about what has happened, whether good or bad. Don’t hold back. Get personal if need be. Just as long as you let the world know how you truly feel.

This has come to be a sad time for not only the country but the world. People have died, lost their homes, and and crimes have been committed. Hopefully on Jan 29 we can start to put this behind us and move on. It wont be easy but change is always possible.

I’ve been disappointed in the way this administration has been so insular in its decision making and in handling the people’s business. Dissent has become unpatriotic rather than a welcome expression of our first amendment rights. And I firmly believe the stature and standing of the country, the people’s respect for the presidency, and the ideals that make America great have been dimished during the Bush 43 tenure. I won’t be sad to see this administration come to an end.

I knew from day one this administration was not about the people. Everything that may have been achieved or in the works from the previous administration has been reversed, revoked and dismissed. This administration does not look after health care, our elderly, college funding, education for those on welfare, social security (due to run out of money in 2040); I could go on and on. I won’t be sad to see it finally come to an end.
